(CNN) -- Authorities searched for a second day Monday for two adults and two
children missing off the coast of
San Francisco since their 29-foot sailboat began taking on
water Sunday afternoon.
The vessel, named the Charm Blow, was about 65 miles (105 kilometers) off the coast of Pillar Point at 4:20 p.m., when someone on board radioed the Coast Guard that the boat was taking on water and the vessel's
electronics were failing, the Coast Guard said.
An hour later, the boat operator said the occupants were abandoning the vessel, and the Coast Guard
lost communication with the boat.
The four might have boarded a life raft, the Coast Guard said.
The focus of the search was 60 to 65 miles off Monterey Bay, said Lt. Heather Lampert, a Coast Guard spokeswoman. She identified the four as a husband and wife, their 4-year-old son, and the son's cousin.
The cousin is younger than 8, the Coast Guard said.
Several aircraft and vessels have joined the search.
Anyone have any more details............?
