As it turns out, my plan at this point is to retire and do the Downeast Loop, which will bring me right past the LaHave River, which your profile shows as your home port.
Oddly enough, when I first started thinking about doing this, the Loonie was at parity with the US $ and
diesel was going for $4 a gallon in the US. If
current trends hold, the overall cost of this trip will be considerably less than I first budgeted.
We've been to
Nova Scotia in our last
boat, but only just between Yarmouth and St. Mary's Bay. Looking forward to seeing the more of the Province, along with
Quebec, NB and PEI, from the
water. Would love to make it over to
Newfoundland, but I'm not counting on it this trip.
