Wintering or even full year in Morocco vs Canaries?
I know the Canaries quite well but never ever been to Morocco. Next year (or maybe add one more season) I plan to move the boat down South and wondering where to put the long-term base: Morocco seems cheaper, less crowded but the coast doesn't seem to be as interesting as e.g. Lanzarote. Not knowing the country, I am also unsure if I can cater for my family (kid will be 5) there longer term. OTOH I feel home on most Canary islands, the only thing disturbs me is the crowd in December-January.

Any ideas? Has anyone stayed longer in Morocco with family?
