Where to Stay in SE Florida ?

We're trying to save as much cash as we can for our cruising - so cheaper is better! However, we'd like simple things like showers/WiFi (if possible)/pump out.

Anchoring preferable, mooring second choice, wet slip if necessary.

We have a dog, so dog friendly needed.

I've been doing research on this for over a week, and am not sure which place is best - looking for information and tips!

How's Coconut Grove situation? Indian Creek? Hollywood Marina? Pelican Harbor? Rickenbacker Marina?

Other suggestions?

Cheers!

Hollywood marina is nice, not cheap last time I was there was .68cents a ft per day . clean showers, friendly staff, secure, close to the beach wifi on the beach or libary sometimes can hook to the radison hotel from marina. dinner key mooring south of maimi I believe you can anchor, pay for showers and dinghy landing. boot key in marathon , great mooring field and anchorage, cruiser friendly, great boat community wifi at marina but onshore was boring to me key west, anchor or mooring, long dinghy ride to dock and showers but hey its key west Palm beach, never stopped there but tons of boats anchored there

If you are looking to stay any length of time the dinner key moorings may be your best bet. It costs $275.00 per month and has showers, a dinghy dock and pumpout
