Where to provision in Cape Verde for the Atlantic Crossing

Crossed to Trinidad from Mindelo last year. DEFINITELY provision in the Canaries. Tenerife is a good place to do it if you are not with the ARC. Mindelo didnt have much that wasnt canned or rather tired looking. Of course, they had lots of fish but they dont last too long and besides you can catch your own. No problem getting bottled water there.

We thought the marina in Mindelo was too surgy to be at all comfortable. That is one windy port!
