Two Albin Vegas Cruising the Exumas Right Now - 'Wee Happy' and 'Mini Pearl'

We've got a wee Albin Vega fleet cruising the Exumas in the Bahamas right now. Wee Happy and Mini Pearl are making their way from the Waderick Wells Land and Sea Park Headquarters down to Staniel Cay. Just in case anyone is interested in the boat or the area! Pictures and videos are on the blog, of course.

Mini Pearl is set up with SSB radio, even though it's only a 27 foot boat!

The park is amazing, although it's becalmed, hazy, hot, and humid here, and we've run out of water. We still have some drinking water, but we're our tank is empty. time to run to Staniel, as there is nowhere to get water in the park here. It's just desert. Stark, beautiful desert. The water is beyond amazing, though!

Capt'n K,
s.v. Wee happy

I'm still following the blog K. Getting ready to replace the standing rigging in the next few weeks, the it's splash time for Pau Hana. You guys decide where you're heading next? Judi and I are going north for summer (we're in south GA right now), then heading south and east in the fall. Hopefully our paths will cross again.

Give a hi to L.

Re: Two Albin Vegas Cruising the Exumas Right Now - 'Wee Happy' and 'Mini Pearl'

Hey Daz! Was just thinking about you recently. How is it going getting your captain's license and starting to do professional boat deliveries? Right now we are considering keeping the vega in florida for the summer and then continuing on to the caribbean this fall from there. We need to go to NY to make some money, visit friends and family and deal with belongings this summer. Then we hope to come right back. we were thinking about going back up north with the vega, but thats a lot of miles to cross just to do it all over again this fall.
