Down to 50%
In Australia when we were being attacked by a cyclone I joined this local weather watching forum to get up-to-the-second analysis. The people on there were Genuinely distraught when the cyclone missed them! truly they wanted it to rip into them! LOL

Since they are so interested, we'll send all our storms over that way.

Amen, they can take em all. In fact, I suggest a "moratorium" on all hurricanes in the gulf
This is a great weather site Weather Underground, someone here on CF pointed me to it. (thanks Randy).

How about technology to reroute it up the BP exec's butts?

It's just east of Guadeloupe this morning. Here on Nevis, we're getting intermittent rain showers, some of them pretty heavy, but short. The models are forecasting that it will strengthen a bit after it passes over the Leewards. Doesn't look like it's going to amount to much at this point.

This is the time of year that every cloud formation in the Atlantic will be reported as "This one could become a potential category 5 storm and is heading straight for _____________ (fill in your city)."

Actually it gets worse than that with US media reporting Sahara tribal bonfires that involve too many marshmellows being roasted at once as - Killer Storm may hit and wipe out Florida - stay tuned for news at 6 about how you are going to die (after the commercials) . . . My question is if we are going to die why do we have to watch the commercials first?
