Traveling North in ICW -- any Covid-policy problems?

We traveling north in the ICW -- headed to Upstate New York.

Is anyone encountering problems with officials complaining about "non-essential travel" and stopping boats or demanding quarantine? Up through NC, Virginia, Delaware., Maryland, NJ?

From the date of your post, I imagine you already made this trip. I'm looking at doing something similar in December, but from further south up to the Chesapeake.

Did you encounter any problems? I'd be curious to know.

We have left the DR in late March, with hopes to dock in George Town/Exumas for several months, but as we got there, they locked the islands so had to proceed to Florida. CBP ROAM app worked very well on entry to the US.

In April and May, most marinas along the ICW were closed, but later on were very much opened for transient boats.

I've checked the situation also northern to Savannah, where the boat is docked through the spring of 2021 - just hope for the covid situation somehow be manageable safely through the next spring with a hopefully, new, responsible Federal administration.

We are currently in Myrtle Beach SC on our way south from Long Island Sound and everything is open for business except the Southport Marina which was destroyed in Isaias.

Are you running down the ICW? I'm expecting that in December/January time frame, I'll simply come up the ICW as at that time of the year I'd rather not risk the weather, and I'll be in a new-to-me boat.

What kind of boat are you in? Are you in the CPMY 63'?
