I want to single hand by boat from Cape Lookout, NC to the Virgin Islands around the beginning of November, weather permitting. I'll try for as much Easting as I can before turning South. At what latitude can I expect the Easterly Trades to appear? Obviously I want to get to warmer weather as soon as posssible but I don't want to end up fighting the the Trades.
They call it Route 66.... head for Bermuda and hang a right just before if you don't fancy stopping.... then its downhill all the way...
