T-Mobile data from St Lucia to Grenada

Anybody using T-Mobile data plan in this region. Planning a trip in Feburary from St Lucia to Grenada and wanting to figure out options. We tried T-Mobile in BVI last winter, had lots of coverage but connections were so slow we would time out on many occasions. We like the idea of T-Mobile because it works in the iPad while in the states for the same data plan price.

T Mobile international has good roaming rates on voice and text in the Windwards but not data. We did a bareboat from Martinique to the Grenadines last November. I bought a local sim card at Digicel on St Lucia that included data for about $15.00 us. It worked very well in St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines. I was able to use my phone as a wifi hotspot. We had excellent data speeds even well offshore. Much better than wifi.
