I delivered an incredibly old and beat up Jeanneau 42 from SXM to Oslo last Autumn. As I recall, it was about 20 days to Horta. We started in Gale Force Trade Winds, got North enough and actually had a 3 day spinnaker run (which somewhat surprised me) and about 3 days motoring through a doldrum. We arrived in a gale! After that we went on via Plymouth but I've also done from Azores to Gib in about 10 days.

The Nic 45 (well - all Nics, actually) is a great boat!! Good luck with finding it. Tony
