Scuba Diving during Exumas Bareboat charter

Hello Everyone,

We have a week long Exumas bareboat planned for 2nd week of March.

I am having a bit of a challenge researching scuba options. I would prefer a "rendesvous diving" type operator, but could also rent tanks for the boat and dingy dive if possible. It's just hard finding waypoints for spots or operators.

Any advice is much appreciated!

Re: Scuba Diving during Exumas Bareboat charter

The Exumas is quite shallow. I had 8 tanks and a compressor on my catamaran when we went, over 3 seasons we used the tanks maybe 3 times. Snorkeled 100's of times. In hindsight a brownie SNUBA would have been the way to go.
That's not to say there aren't deep spots, they are just not as plentiful as the Bahamas is a shelf, not a mountain poking up out of the sea like the Caribbean.

There is/was a diving shop in Georgetown if memory serves me correctly, near the shell gas station down from the guy who BBQ's and looks like Michael Jordan (he really does).
