Satellite TV in the Leeward and Windward Islands

We have successfully received our Direct TV coverage via our satellite throughout the East Coast, Canada & thru the Bahamas - using a NYC address. Finally lost the satellite at Long Island, Bahamas.

Can anyone tell me if we purchase the Direct TV plan out of Puerto Rico and purchase their equipment -- will we receive the signal as far as Grenada???? What will we get? (Appears they are not allowed to tell us how far it goes as they are only supposed to transmit in US.....) Any insights would be helpful! Thanks!

To the best of my knowledge there is no satellite TV coverage in the Windwards. (Then again, isn't getting AWAY from stuff like TV the main reason to go cruising????)

Some folks here in Nevis have DirectTV, but say that a large number of the channels are broadcast in Spanish.
