On the W route, only an issue along parts of the Honduran/Nica coasts. As posted already, stay WAY off there.

Colon to Key West via Yucatan channel. Blast straight on through. Have tough crew. Have a tough boat. Expect strong east winds and steep beam seas all the way to Cuba, and hope you don't get slammed by a bad Norther.

Then party down in Key West, you made it!
