Moorings in Chesapeake

Hi, everybody.
I'm bringing my Valiant 40 up from the Bahamas to the Chesapeake and want to keep it on a mooring for the summer and into the fall.
I don't know much about the Chesapeake at this point, but I do want to keep it in the north (maybe around Annapolis), so that I can drive to it relatively easily from the NYC area.
I'm looking for suggestions for moorings. I'm now cold-calling marinas, but that has been pretty slow-going.

As far as longer term transient moorings, you may try Hartge Yacht Yard in Galesville, Maryland (about 15 miles south of Annapolis on Western Shore).
