Marinas in Caribbean

Ahoy Maties,

I'm looking to take my Benetau 50 to either the USVI (probably St. Thomas of St. John) or BVI (Tortola) and want to leave her in a marina for several months. Wow, the prices on the ones I've checked are steep

Any suggestions.

Nope, your right. You want to be in that area it is going to cost you. I am in St Thomas.


Try Puerto Rico. I liked Palmas Del Mar. About 1/3 the cost of St Thomas for my boat. When the weather cooperates its only 50 mikes to St Thomas. When it doesn’t….. its not a bad place to be stuck. Other that that you have to go a ways down island before it will seem reasonable. (A relative statement). I liked Grenada. 6 months there last summer for the price of one month in St Thomas at peak season.
