Planning trip to Azores from Maine. And, then on to the Med.

Please advise me on reference material that will cover weather conditions on route, best times to make voyage....thanks bill brown

See Jimmy Cornell's "World Sailing Routes". I think most folks consider this the best reference. It really just summarizes various governmental publications, but it is all in one place.

"The Atlantic Crossing Guide" by Jane Russell (published by the RCC pilotage foundation) is the best focused source of information on that crossing.
