Lots of pleasure craft

I was looking on the Marine Traffic website today. There is still a lot of activity going on in the Carribean, but it appears to be mostly freighters and cargo ships. When I filter it down to show only pleasure craft, then it looks the way I would expect, with lots of ships harbored and not much activity, however looking further East, there is a mass of boats heading across the Atlantic. I counted over 100 heading to Carribean.

What's up with that? Is everyone just going anyways? hoping for the best?

It’s that time of year, why would you not expect folks to do the holidays in the tropic thing? That’s been the trend for a loooong time
