Gulfside
Key Largo - Buttonwood Sound has areas to drop your hook and dingy access to Key Largo just inboard of the
ICW. Only problem you may have is
draft, but if you're under 5', no problem. They don't have any dingy docks, but if you tie-up to the Cafe Largo pier, go in, have a
beer and ask the bartender(s) what is available they can tell you. Many liveaboards tie up their dingys near the old Snooks Bar and
Grill (it burned down two years ago....).
Oceanside Key Largo has a great
anchor area with
depth and some protection inboard of Rodriguez Key and you can simply pull your dingy up on the rocks next to the Ocean Reef Marina entrance ( that's where everyone else anchored off goes). No charge for it and I've never heard of anyone messing with anything.
Have a great trip!
