List of East Coast Hurricane Holes & Best slip marinas

My brother and I plan to sail his Benenteau 423 down to Florida this Fall from Baltimore MD to Florida. Looking for:

1. Best Hurricane Holes en-route.
2. Best Florida Marina for Long Term slip in terms of quality and price.
3. Taking the ICW when available. What to avoid?
4. Insurance going to apply extra premium adjustment and have requested a "Storm Plan". Insurance company has provide NO specifications as to what plan should look like. Do you have suggestions as to where to go on Internet for sample.
