Key West -> Dry Tortugas -> Isla Mujeres - anyone going?

We are taking our Lagoon 380 to Rio Dulce for a haul out and refit. We have looked at the cruise guide from Captain Rauscher, Jim Cornell's planning books, noonsite, etc. and struggle between the direct route from Key West to Isla Mujeres and stopping over in the Dry Tortugas. None the less, we are going in late April (depending on Chris Parker weather forecast). If you are headed that way, let us know, we would love the company of another boat along the route.

Any current advice or counsel would be appreciated.
