Perchance it is my "urban upbringing" but the take away for me that if #%#! comes down, don't linger. Get the hell outta
Dodge ASAP!! The alleged event happened in May and he was arrested in June.
Knowing that the attacker was okay when he left the boat, nothing good could happen from hanging around. If the attacker had not departed this earth, he could have come back thoroughly pissed about loosing and bringing some friends. To me an appropriate response would be to leave the mooring immediately. If questioned, there is a logical reason- fear of further attack.
Lets hope that the truth comes out and the cruiser walks.

Somewhere in there it mentions that the thief may have been abandoned by his accomplices.
With friends like that who needs enemas?
Maybe they knew him better than us.

That's a new take on death in custody.
In Oz a death in custody causes all sorts of hassel for the Police. Turn it around and take the heat away.

You simply don't know that.
The amount of conclusion jumping, chest thumping, strutting, posing and arm waving in this thread makes me question the wisdom of identifying myself as a member of this community.
Fortunately, I'm quite new, and don't feel committed.

If you can't find the humor in the strutters, chest thumpers, and posers, then perhaps you take this too seriously.

Running could be taken as an admission of guilt. In this case there is a possible criminal charge. You don't want to be a fugitive. What you should do is make an immediate report to the police.

You are right, we do not know anything really, except that a person is being held in jail, and everything I have read has pointed in the direction of being there wrongfully. What ever happened to being innocent until proven gulty? There are quite a few that would like to believe that this man must have done something wrong or he would not be there. I ask you all, what if he has done nothing wrong, what if this was you?

Re: In Prison in St Lucia
Wonder if the incident happen in Rodney Bay area, be there dozen of times i never hear of any boarding with crew onboard, Gross islet is a Crack market full of drug dealers , we dont know what happen and we dont know the whole history , and as i say before there is no autopsy info anywhere , so we dont know the real cause of death, pure speculation.... but sounds to me a bad drug deal......who know?
