I65: East Coast to Caribbean

Hi

Weather allowing, we are planning to take the offshore route (I65) from Beaufort, NC, directly to Antigua in mid November 2022.

We are wondering if there are any other boats doing the same passage in November? It might be nice to be buddy boats.

Would be great to connect!

While having a "buddy boat" sounds like a fine idea and implies some "safety in numbers" my one passage with others did not work out that way. On a trans-Atlantic from the Canaries to Barbados we came in sight of only ONE other boat.



Of course you may have better luck.....there were only 185 of us leaving the Canaries together (ARC 1987)
