I just don't get it. Why do some folks who visit a place and hate it actually go back for a second visit? I mean, what is up with these morons? Didn't they get the hint the first time? Why do we have to put up with an ignoramus coming back a second time to the USVI? If the caged Coke machines didn't scare you off, what can we do to keep you from coming back? Please, tell us.

st. thomas is not a bad place--i prefer it to lost angeles, anywhere in LA county , or san diego or anywhere in mainland usa.......

If all you've done is arrive and ferry out, then how can you really judge it?

I've flown through Denver. Should I judge Denver based on the airport?

How much driving around Tortola, St. John or any other Virgin Islands have you done?

Poverty and crime exists on them all. Why wouldn't a soda machine be a target of vandalism in a place where people are coming and going all the time?

The resorts on St. Thomas and their beaches can be very nice. You have to remember that not everyone can afford to fly to St. Thomas and THEN take a ferry to BVI and charter a boat for a week. For about half that cost (or less) they could get a nice room at a resort in St. Thomas.

I can understand where you are coming from as we honeymooned in St. Thomas, but there are plenty of nice areas and fun things to do.

st thomas is actually a cool place. you should give it a chance. flying inand ferrying out isnot visiting st thomas. is like believing all of mexico is violence ridden or that all of lost angeles is crime ridden or that yer gonna die in a lightning storm at sea or.....jeeez--give it a break and see the place. there is soo much more than the ferry landing and airport..LOL
didja eat native foods? didja walk on the malecon? didja even think of trying to have a great time??/
