Hurricane Storage East Coast Yards

I am interested in storing on the hard on the east coast during the peak of hurricane season. I prefer to be north of Florida. I want to find a yard where there is some concept of deailing with hurricanes for boats on the hard. Yards with tie-downs are common in Florida, but seem to be rare further north.

I saw a yard in Maine that built wooden cradles inside of the jack stands that looked good.

Is anyone aware of yards north of Florida that have a tie-down system or some other way of dealing with hurricanes.

Very frequent hurricanes in Maine ??

I did not detail all the factors we might consider about where we go, but we sail full time and do long distances. So willing to consider Georgia to Maine. Probably not Nova Scotia.

Trying to get a line on marinas that have hurricane provisions on the land.

I have been sailing on the east coast for two seasons and been in two hurricanes, one of which was in Maine (Irene).

For really! out of the way places try Minnesott Beach Marina, Minnesott Beach, N.C. on the Neuse River west of the ICW. It is difficult to find the first time but it is very off the beaten path and inside a dredged creek. They don't have a website but there address and phone number are here: Minnesott Beach Marina, Arapahoe, NC

I stayed there in 2005 and got my 60ft 5 ft draft sailing ketch in. It wasn't easy.
