How Far South of NY . . .

...do you have to go if you want to keep a boat in the water (salt) year-round?
It doesn't have to be warm--most places are warmer than northern NY in winter.
But I want to be able to head further south (after hurricane season) if circumstances allow, or to leave the boat in marinas to permit travel home if necessary.
I just don't want to store it on the hard this winter.
