Headed to Nevis

Swinging on anchor in Deshaies and headed to Nevis tomorrow for a week. Any suggestions re: after hours entry, points of interest, etc will be appreciated. Are the moorings mandatory or is anchoring still permitted? Thanks, Al

If you have internet access check out

Noonsite: St Kitts & Nevis

Or, if he is online Hud lives there and should be able to give you some rough idea of the local situation.

Double Deuce Bar on south end of Pinnets Beach is a good spot.
The more famous bar "Sunshines" ,The guy has been theifin' my artwork for 12 years, stole a t shirt design from me. When I asked him for $, his gangster nephews tried to jump me.
If a roll comes up, dingy landing is Hawwaii Five Oh.
Mooring is mandatory, at least untill Cuba opens up.

You probably won't see this before getting underway, YT, so let me know if I can be of any help once you arrive. Most cruisers pick up a mooring at Double Deuce, on the southernmost end of Pinneys Beach and dinghy down to Charlestown to clear in. DD has free WiFi, cold beer and good food, as does Sunshine's and Chevy's a bit up the beach to the north.
