Yes, 16 Oz “Coleman” propane cylinders are generally available in Canada, for instance from Canadian Tire stores (among others).
There is one in Channel-Port aux Basques, NL.
Find Canadian Tire stores and their hours of operation

Thanks again for all the info. To answer a previous question, I have an Aries vane that generally works pretty well if I keep it lubed up. Currently don't have a dodger in this (wet) boat, so that's a priority project this spring, building a hard top canopy with a removable window. A gently used radar set came in yesterday. Otherwise just a few hundred projects to do to be ready.
