There'll be lots of
boats down in
Miami by then waiting for windows. We'll be in the
water here in Fernandina next week and will start heading down. Most of the
boats anchor off South Beach or lower down in Biscayne Bay by No Name or
Hurricane Hole. We'll probably be in what's known as the Publix anchorage off South Beach. It's by the Collins
Canal and you can dink up to Publix, hence the name. The cops will visit you there but don't really hassle anyone. We're on a Ben 393 "Breathless". What's your boat's name? Quite often we stop at Lantana and
anchor on the west side south of the bridge.
As far as routes go we usually go from
Miami to North Rock, across the Bank and down to
Nassau where we check in, about 30 hours.
