Florida Gulf Coast Summer Storage

Hello,

Where can a boat be stored safely on dry on the Gulf Coast of Florida during the hurricane season? Is there a yard where they anchor the boats on the ground with straps? Or any better solution to keep the boat straight in a Force 5?

Snead Island Boat Works (941-722-2400) in Palmetto, on the Manatee River in south Tampa Bay, has a good dry storage yard. Boats are blocked up and firmly straped down with ground anchors and the price seems to be pretty reasonable.

FWIW...

All American is a good place to haul out and store. There's also Gasparilla Marina & boat yard. Both are in Charlotte County, FL

How much would you be expected to pay per month in this area of the world?

Re: Florida Gulf Coast summer storage

I believe All America Boat Storage in Port Charlotte is about $6-7 a foot for dry storage.
