Exumas to BVI, November!

Hello everyone. Currently have plans to deliver a 70 ft catamaran from the Exumas to BVI. The dates would be leaving on November 12 and have limited time (no exploring and sticking around for fun). I was wondering if anyone had any advice on which route to take. Alot of people talk about how hard the thorny route is but I was wondering if on a boat this size it could be tolerable. On the other hand doing the I66 route some say that being in the Bahamans is to far south for it to be worth it so it seems were stuck deciding which of the worsts to take.

The boat would be manned with a crew of 5 so no real stress on long watch keeping hours.

Would appreciate any advice.

Regards,

pml

I65 all the way!

Tank up with fuel and punch out to 65 west. Do NOT turn south before 65. I did and got nowhere and had to take another dig out. So use your fuel getting out.

Then you are fine.

Its easy if you go right out to 65.

Done it 3 times. Like Mark says Punch Out to I65 or 66 and hang a hard turn to starboard. Enjoy the ride but choose a good weather window.
