Liberty is planning to sail south Saturday morning, Nov 5, for an overnight sail to Hampton. In several short trips between
Annapolis and the Magothy, we've seen (and mostly avoided, other than a couple of minor bumps) a lot of floating debris and flotsam, including big pieces of
wood with obviously visible nails and other sharp pointy things.
If we see much during the day Saturday we will stop at Solomons for the night.
Query: has anyone gone south in the bay in the last few days who can comment on how much debris is still floating that needs to be dodged?
Thanks much,
Liberty
