Cost of Diesel in th Caribbean
Hi,
Does anyone know the approximate cost of diesel in the Caribbean at all please?

Current (April 2, 2006) BAHAMAS Fuel Prices:
Diesel is just under $4.00/Gal, and Gasoline about $5.00/Gal.
Sorry, cannot quote Caribbean prices - but they will be similarly high.

200 gallons cost us 3.85 in st martin 2 weeks ago.

Our dollar is dropping and the cost of oil is sky rocketing here. Deisel went to NZ$1.14/ltr here today.  Petrol(gasoline) went to NZ$1.67/ltr. We seem to be having a price increase every week at the mo.

Price of diesel in western Caribbean
I paid approximately the equivalent of $3.00 per gallon for diesel on the Rio Dulce in Guatamala this past winter. Could have been a bit more but not much more. In Belize the price was higher and in Mexico at Isla Mujeres it was a good bit less. I am told that Mexico has the cheapest fuel prices in the western Caribbean region.

In the north coast of the Dominican Republic, theres a new marina Luperon Yacht Club (the only fuel at the dock) and their price is 3.40us per Gallon.

Venezuela diesel was about 7 cents US a gallon, and gas was 12 cents us as of January. Margarita island is higher, but they deliver it to the boat. Trinidad was under a dollar.
We just paid 3.84 US a gallon in Salinas PR
3.24 US in highbourn cay, bahamas

For diesel we paid about $2.50 per gallon on Providencia island and about $3.26 in Bocas del Toro, Panama. It's about $3.10 at the gas station here in Colon, but I don't know what they're charging at the yacht club.
