Actually, September is quite hot if not the hottest in South Florida
. That said, remember the Gulf Stream
along the South East coast
of Florida, moderates the temperatures. It's a rare day that the actual air temperature goes over 95 in the Summer. Then our afternoon thunderstorms cool us off. But make no mistake, even with southeastern breezes and afternoon rain showers, it's never comfortable till the heat breaks in mid October. Then it goes from 95 down to 89. As they say, it's not the heat do much as it is the humidity!
