Classic Yacht Liability Insurance?

Hello,
I have a 1958 Classic 40ft sailboat that we want to take to the Bahamas again and we are having a hard time finding liabiity insurance for that area. We can get insurance for the coast of Canada and USA but, not Bahamas unless we fork over $3000 just for the liability package.
Any help would be great. We have the boat registered in Canadian waters. She is fully restored and will be shipped south before the end of December 2021.

Check with Hagerty, the insurance company that is focussed on classic cars also insures classic (old!) boats. I assume you have a good, recent survey and sailing resume.

Yes, they will insure us but not for Bahamas
