Chesapeake Snow

Shoveled off boat.....30" on the floating piers......Baltimore Harbor Frozen solid in spots.......Getting another 18" today....so far have had calls for two sunken boats.....expect more after this round.....more snow on Saturday.

Our new marina owners have made a small path down the main pier and parking lot is packed powder

I sailed from Annapolis on the 7th of Jan , Back Creek was frozen and we actually broke ice ( thin , but still ice...) to leave , after realizing something everyone up there has known for a long time: you can't wash a boat or fill your water tanks in winters like this. It snowed for most of the night when we sailed down the Bay , nothing like what's going on there now but I'm not used to it at all , I think that if it's too cold for bikinis it's too cold .... 40 degrees expected today in South Florida ...
