Cheap Waypoint in Melbourne, Florida

Thanks for all the replies.

Given the various issues that have come up, I'm now planning to try to make the trip (from Cape Coral to Beaufort, NC) in 1 run, through the Okeechobee (we need to be tipped to make the railroad bridge) then offshore in a straight line.

I'd like to do it in 7 days in mid-May.

Anyone else need to come north from Florida in May and looking for a buddy boat?
