Charleston, SC Harbormaster / Moorings ?
Does Charleston, SC have a harbor master? and are moorings permitted? I live in Maine now but lived in Charleston 5 years ago and am planning on heading there this september. I have seen moorings there, ( just west {i think} of state road 17) who do i contact to have one placed? i expect to pay around a grand for a granite block staple chain and ball, and or permission to place one? they are rampant and quite common place up this way. I have no desire to be tied to a dock. thanks for the replies..
