Re: Canouan Naked Swimming Thief... Caught?

People don't have time to watch the video, yet they take that same precious time to post an irrelevent comment on this thread. Hypocrite much?

Thanks to the OP for posting. Hope this dude gets put away for quite a while.

Yes, but this thread wasn't really asking for opinions, or suggestions, or help, or other's knowledge, or even discussion. And it especially wasn't asking for opinions on video vs no video being used in posts...

It was really just posting info that may be useful to those cruising this area. If it wasn't relevant (look at the locations of those whining) then just pass on by please...

So replies along the lines of "thanks for the info, I'm heading that way soon" and "glad he got caught" would have been great, instead of all these other unhelpful whining posts that drowned out the main topic.

Just wanted to join the cadre of complainers about the video. Apparently this thread title was just click bait to get people to watch yet another youtube cruiser's channel. I clicked on the video assuming it would be about a thief being caught. But that apparently is just one detail in yet another boring vlog. I've been there myself and witnesedthefts and scams myself in person, so I guess I'll pass on this vlog.

A brief write up on just the theft would have been a lot more appropriate rather than an obvious advertisement for somebody's patreon account.

Re: Canouan Naked Swimming Thief... Caught?

Thanks for posting the Great video. I really enjoyed watching it with all the nice images of the sea life and the nice commentary.

Much better then just reading some lengthy boring read, that goes on and on.

He put his dive mask, identical to my wife's mask, on the cabin top as he came into the cockpit. We talked for at least a 1/2 hour and it turned out he was in the same industry I had been in at the end of my career, so we had a lot in common. He gave me his email address and wanted me to keep him apprised of our cruising progress, something he often dreamed of he said. As he left I said " hey you forgot your mask" and he replied " Oh, that's not mine".

Great Story!

Guess what. It's the internet and a public forum. When something is posted members are allowed to post their opinion, whether requested or not. It's kind of like freedom of speech, you know.

The video would have been more useful if had been what it was purported to be. If the OP had called it a video blog about some cruiser in the islands that happened to include a very short bit about a burglar that was caught I doubt you would have seen all the criticism.

Guess what, regrettably you have become one of the other numerous people posting and losing time and your precious bandwidth here for nothing when it seems the thread is entirely irrelevant to you.

Move along, nothing to see here. Kindly just keep browsing instead of trolling and derailing threads please.

Guess what. No regrets here. If you actually read what I said instead of posting a knee jerk attack you might notice that I never said it was about time, although others did. What I said was the video was kind of boring and not that well made. If it was about time I would have just ignored the video and all the irrelevant responses.

Re: Canouan Naked Swimming Thief... Caught?

Sorry but the point is, why are you (and the other whiners) even posting here and further derailing the thread in the first place?

There are enough other threads that are asking for posts and input. But this isn't one of them.

Score, 10 posts for you mostly complaining about other posts so further derailing the thread. 6 for me, 4 responding to your complaining.

oh man, just give it a rest - troll reported...

It's a pity and a sad reflection on these members that this is how they manage to accumulate their thousands of posts.
