canary isl - sat phone

just working with my ssb for msg on crossing to those who are watching our crossing for safety purposes. Found out ssb will not transmit msg unless USA had 3rd party agreement with other country and no 3rd party agreement with any EU country.

SO I am leaving in 2 days for Canary Island --can I get a sat phone there??

They are a sat communication supplier out of Las Palmas De Gran Canaria (Iridium and Inmarsat). If you hurry, you may still be able to catch the Iridium rep that was there for the ARC start
