Broker in Puerto Rico

Hello All, Looking for any possible leads on a broker in Puerto Rico. My wife and I will be visiting there to take a look at a boat and would like to look at any that are available while there.

Thanks in advance OTM

Re: Broker in Puerto Rico

Are you looking for a Buyers Broker?? You could probably just filter Yachtworld for Puerto Rico and book viewings with the listing brokers. Or, find the largest brokerage and discuss engaging in a buyers broker relationship.

Keep in mind, if your buyers broker is showing you a boat that he is listing, he the sellers broker and has a potential conflict of interest. It's tough to maintain a fiduciary commitment to both parties.

Re: Broker in Puerto Rico

Hello all, after following Shrews advice I had a nice list of 10 brokers in Puerto Rico, I have reached out to them all multiple times and have had zero responses. Our question (also posted in the dollars and cents section) is, is it possible for us to navigate the deal ourselves. We think we have a general grasp of the procedure, make offer, escrow, survey, water test, re negotiate. We are more concerned about details like transfer of ownership/ registration. Any advice to help us through this would be much appreciated
Thanks OTM
