I have stayed at the guest house at Loose Mongoose. Not fancy, but clean n friendly and walking distance to the airport.

The Mariner Inn at the moorings base is nice. Very conveinent, there's a pool and the rooms are nice.

Last October we had 9 people on our trip and most left Sunday, but 3 of us stayed overnight in San Juan and 2 stayed at the Moorings. I was one of the 3 in San Juan but our friends who staying at the Moorings said it was nice.

hotels in BVI s

we have stayed at the Marias by the Sea. It is on the back side of Road Town Harbor. it is with walking distance of the ferry dock( if you dont have alot of luggage) and very nice. I have friend who stay at the Deloose Mongoose and think it is great.
We have also flown into St Thomas and stayed there and take the ferry over
to Road Town. It is a nice trip. You cant go wrong either way

Another option - why not extend your charter 1 more day?

Best: Probably the Peter Island Resort.

Most Convenient: Stay at the Moorings base.

My option has always been to do a sleep aboard.

Dittos. Peter Island involves a launch trip.

Across from the Moorings base on the hill, red roof, Treasure Island I think. Had to stay there one night also, clean room and very friendly staff at the bar by the pool. Sorry can't remember the cost.

Going to be a little tough catching that early morning flight after a layover at Virgin Gorda.
