Hi Rick - wow, I didn't know that! But the Park website says nothing of it and a google search returned only one news item from Jan 2015 that the Park was considering raising fees. Can you please provide more info? $26 makes no sense. I would think any increase would be in increments of $5 since you pay by dropping an envelope in an "Iron Ranger" drop box that does not lend itself to having a lot of single dollar bills.....

Bareboat Charter (From St Thomas) Including Spanish Virgin Islands & St Croix

You're welcome and the majority of people that are aware of the upcoming $26 fee are also questioning the logic of a total requiring a minimum of three bills.

At least they picked an even number of dollars for those of us who get to pay half price - we won't need 50 cents....

Re: Bareboat Charter (From St Thomas) Including Spanish Virgin Islands & St Croix

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this forum but have been reading the posts about cruising in the Spanish Virgins. My family of 5 adults and 2 kids will also be chartering a monohull for 12 days to sail in this area end of Jan. We will be starting in St. Thomas as well from CYOA. I had a couple questions. We're required to bring our own charts as well as for St. Croix if we decided to incorporate that as well. I was looking at the Imray charts wondering which ones would be needed if that was the recommended chart if anyone knew the specific numbers.

Thank you,
Jenny G

Jenny,
I believe A23 rings a bell. The best bet would be to call the office at CYOA and ask them what is required.
