Bareboat charter florida keys?

We’re looking for recommendations on a charter company in the Florida Keys, preferably marathon to upper Keys? Anybody know of an option for a monohull 35-45 ft? It’s too far for us to sail our boat for just a week.

Thanks for any advice.

Yeah Montanan is right, Miami is the closest charter you'll find to Marathon and the upper keys, there is nothing in the keys themselves until key west and mostly that is power and cat charters. Generally speaking, monohull charters aren't that common in South Florida.

Lorikeet is based in Key Largo if it helps. Four of us chartered her when she was in Sunset Marina a few years ago. I had no idea how long it took to get around to open water and what a pain it was to navigate out of there. We enjoyed the boat although we had to spend a night at a stock island marina to get the water tanks refilled and the holding tank pumped out. With non sailors onboard, water conservation was an issue. How do people not understand we aren’t on city water when you’re on a boat? Haha! I have fond memories of the boat even though there wasn’t a dinghy and our friends used all the water in 1.5 days. Geez!

You might check with CruiseAbacos. I think the started their charter business from soutH Florida and may still be running it both locations.

Key Lime Sailing Resort also has a partner that does charters. They are in Key Largo. If you stay In one of their cottages you get free use of a 22' day sailor.

It may be you should take a look at the company on the Gulf Coast. They are in Cape Coral: https://www.swfyachts.com/

They have a number of boats you can charter, bare boat or captain.........
