Bahamas and Bikes

We're planning on crossing to the Abacos in April. I have read in a couple of places that they may charge a tax to bring our bicycle in but I haven't been able to find out how much it might be. If it's $20 or under, OK. $50, we'll leave it at home. Oh well. Has anyone had to pay this fee and if so, how much did they charge you?
BTW. Does anyone know if the marina at West End charges a "clearing fee" to dock there for checking in purposes? We stayed at a marina in Bimini overnight last fall because of the fee but I think I'd like to head straight out to Great Sale after we check in this time.
