Atlantic Crossing, is it TOO LATE in the season to find a boat⛵️ to crew on?

Is anyone doing an Atlantic crossing and in need of a crew or willing to dispense advice?


Hi all,

Are you or is anyone that you know doing an Atlantic crossing from the Americas and in need of a crew? I'm 19, from the UK🇬🇧 and have been dinghy sailing competitively for 8 years and sailing offshore for 4 years with a competent crew qualification.

I would greatly apreciate and advice, leads or interested parties, so far I have put my profile out all over the internet but feel that it might be more effective emailing notices to harbours in the Caribbean.

What do you guys think is the best course of action?

Not likely a with a cruiser, but delivery skippers do get crappy runs this time of year...so maybe on a delivery...but hurricanes are serious business.

Ok , I'll take that into account, are there any popular places to do the atlantic crossing from eg BVI? None of the websites have been that fruitful.
