Any reviews of Manuel Reef Marina, BVI?

Does anyone have any experience with Manuel Reef Marina, in Tortola BVI?

We are considering it to leave our 44' cat for a month this winter while we are off the island, but we cannot find any reviews on ActiveCaptain, our usual source.

Any information shared will be helpful. If we stay there we will do a review on Active Captain for others to reference going forward.

I keep my boat at Nanny Cay, which is just across Sea Cow's Bay from the new Manuel Reef marina. They've done a lot of work on it in the past two years and it should be good for storing your boat for a month. There isn't as much infrastructure there as at Nanny and if you plan on staying aboard while there a rental car is going to be a necessity, but for pure storage at the docks it is a protected location and will certainly be less busy and probably cheaper than at Nanny Cay.

It looks like late December or even January, my current employers won't let me return but they've stopped short of asking to keep hold of my passport! I'll head over to St. John when I get back, since I'm having stuff sent from the mainland, and we'll have to get together then!

To the thread - I would have tried to use Manuel Reef if the draft weren't so restrictive. It always looks quite calm and protected in there.
