Where in Colon or nearby is it possible to anchor (where it also is possible to dock the dinghy)?

They closed the anchorages for several reasons like yachts dragging onto reefs or problems with locals etc. so the two options are mooring at Shelter Bay marina ($$$) or anchoring in Portobelo and taking the bus to Colon.

It is rather busy @ Shelter Bay now with the Oyster World Rally visiting but I see some spots still free.

There is an anchorage near 9° 21.871'N 79° 53.601'W

I would have a cruise through the place and have a good look. There must be places!
