This last
winter Abacos
water temps were hovering in low 70s, definitely wetsuit temps. Air temps were not all that warm either; the fronts blowing through had temps down into the 50s at night and 70s in the day. Will still feel warm if you're coming from the frozen north, but bring a fleece. Who knows, you could get lucky this
winter.
8 people on a 50'
charter monohull - did it several times, only way I could afford to go sailing in the
Caribbean. One time on a
Gib'Sea 51, which has an
interior door to the crew
cabin, we did 10. When going
diving, we wound up with pairs going off the port and starboard boarding gates, and off the stern step, at the same time. The snorkelers were great
boat support! And yes, as most of us were singles you have to be good friends.
