I'll just throw out a land experience and a boat
experience there that we particularly enjoyed.
is a partially restored sugar plantation with a historical interpretation center. The sugar mill is in prime condition--the best I've seen on any of the islands. It's a really interesting view into how things were in the colonial days.
inside the reef at Spanish Point on Barbuda is a special experience. It's highly likely that you'll be all by yourself, enjoying the breezes in a perfectly calm anchorage. There are coral
heads all around for snorkeling, and we saw turtles and dolphins
while enjoying our morning coffee in the cockpit
. It's a really beautiful and peaceful spot.
